We watched that same movie a couple of days ago. I loved the setting and the plot line about writers. I especially enjoyed the main character's choice between being a writer and living the dream in Hollywood. Not that writers must choose necessarily, and, believe me, I'd love to be able to choose Paris over Hollywood. But it was nice for a film to show how a writer's life comes with certain sacrifices. Check out Miss Potter for another fun film about writing. Renee Zelweger is terrible in it, but otherwise it is worth watching.
