Comments: Check out MIRIAM on Amazon

Orthodox young woman here; I happily read your books, but honestly as a frum person I skip the "sexy" scenes. Your books are *great*, they do *not* need sex to sell! No one would drop your work because there is no sex scene - but many frum readers were turned off.
Think about it!

Dear Maggie,
I just finushed reading Jocheved and I found it an interesting and enjoyable read, you write well and have a lot of knowledge which you put to use in an interesing story. You also bring up thought provoking and topics relevant for the commited Jew in modern times.
Personally I would have prefered less explicit sexual discriptions, in the tradition that these are topics that are private just as they are holy, from a literary perspective, it is also better to leave something to the imagination.

Dear Maggie,

I read both Johoved and Miriam and already looking forward to Volume III. I love that Rashi's daughters are so confident and independent. I was not offended by the sexual descriptions. It made the characters more human and gave insight to Jewish practices and traditions.
I love historical period pieces and Rashi's Daughters lived up to my expectations.
Please, not to much heartache in # III.

Dear Maggie,
I just finished Miriam - my thoughts and questions on your wonderful books, I will post at a later point - writing now only to ask if there is a prognosis for the release of book three on Rachel? 2008? or 2009?
Best,
RL
