Comments: love between medieval Jewish men

Is this the verse, from JPS Masoretic 1917 text, that you are looking for? "Where thou diest will I die and there will I be buried; the LORD do so to me, and more also, if aught but death part thee and me."

I have read both your books and am anxiously awaiting the third, but it seems I have a long wait yet, so hope the time passes by quickly. As a Christian, I especially enjoyed learning all the Jewish holidays and traditions (furthering my own Judaic education), as well as facts about the time period. On two things, though, I was surprised, one being the frequent reliance on superstitious items. The second has to do with homosexuality, and while a subject one almost cannot say anything, it is a subject that the Hebrew Bible and Christian Bible both agree on, so my surprise is that it had been so accepted. I'm not knocking this being brought out in this book, it's in Christian circles as well, which some have accepted and others haven't, so is a divisive issue.

The only thing I would add is a map showing the area in more detail of where various towns are in relation to one another.

Keep up the good work! These books were in the category of "I can't put them down!" : )
