Just finished reading Miriam, and enjoyed it as much as your first book. Looking forward to Rachel. Why is it so important that we follow what others interpret for us from the Torah? I find that reading in English from a translation of the Torah makes my own interpretation more meaningful to me.

Sorry for the delay, but my fall speaking schedule is now up on my website.

Dear Maggie,
Loved your two books. I found them both interesting and informative. As a non-Jew the interperations of the Talmud made it a very good read. Even though a novel I felt I was actually learning something. I had just finished "Pillars of the Earth", it was fun to compare characters of the same period. I look forward to the third book in the trilogy.
Sincerely, Joan Dermody
