more about YA version

I received this wonderful letter from a father who gave his bat mitzvah aged daughter my book:
"It's a shame that the "sanitized" version was necessary to make your excellent work "accessible" to young adults. Although a friend recommended that i wait until my daughter was 16, the head of her day school, thought it would be OK at 12, and she enjoyed it. On reflection, I actually thought it was a wonderful way of introducing a young women entering puberty about what the wonderful gift God gave us in the joys of sex within the sanctity of a sacred relationship, rather than the casual encounters the kids see on things like Will & Grace or Sex and the City (and don't kid yourself about them not having access to those shows.) The perfection of your book was that it showed so MUCH of the full cycle of their lives. I think you showed how sex can be handled in a valid Jewish context."
